Action star Jackie Chan is using Facebook to appeal to fans to help save a little girl with leukemia.

“I recently found out about an 8 year-old girl who has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant,” he wrote on his official Facebook page. “I recorded a public service announcement to appeal for your help and now I am asking all my Facebook fans to do what they can. Please help!”

8-year-old Natalie was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) in the Fall of 2008. After five rounds of chemotherapy she went into remission and re-enrolled in school this past Fall. But her leukemia returned in January 2010 and now her only chance for survival is to find a lifesaving bone marrow donor as soon as possible.

To find out more about how you can join Jackie and DKMS in helping her, visit her official website or the DKMS website.

Thanks to Jackie Chan! And many, many others have also helped spread the word about Natalie and the need for minority bone marrow donors, including Alyssa Milano, Kevin Smith, and Kathy Ireland. http://www.pitchengine.com/savenatalie/celebs-join-familys-social-media-fight-to-save-natalie/45066/
