Myspace.com may be one of the most effective ways of spreading a message, and Don Cheadle is cleverly using it to get the word out about his exclusive trailer for Darfur Now. The trailer is provocative, yet there is clearly is much to be told.
Cheadle co-produced the film, and also features in it; however, he is not the only impassioned celebrity featured in this film. His good friend, superstar George Clooney, lends his support to the cause for change in Darfur.
In his introduction to the trailer, Cheadle states, “The confict in Darfur has raged on for the past four years. In that time we have witnessed horrifc human right abuses, including systematic and widespread murder, rape, abduction and displacement.” He describes the film as a testament to personal activism and a call to action to put an end to the suffering in Darfur now.
