Jackie Chan was joined by over 170 performers in Hong Kong on April 1 for a three hour celebrity charity concert to benefit victims of the Japanese tsunami.

Over 10,000 people – including Japan’s Consul-General to Hong Kong Yuji Kumamaru – gathered at Hong Kong’s Victoria Park for the Artistes 311 Love Beyond Borders concert, raising around US$3 million.

“We’re here to tell the people of Japan – you’re not alone,” Jackie told the crowd, before singing the song he recorded for the event, Succumb Not to Sorrow.
