Kim Kardashian has blogged about a very special charity event taking place in March 2012.

“This year I was diagnosed with psoriasis, a hereditary, genetic, autoimmune disease that effects over 125 million people around the world and currently has no cure,” she wrote on her official blog. "On March 4 2012 it will be the sixth annual Walk To Cure Psoriasis and I hope you guys will join me in helping raise funds and awareness for the event. Over the last five years they have raised almost 1.5 million dollars to help research for a cure and there are now 22 walks across the country! They also started the first ever DNA BioBank, which is used by researchers across the country and the money from the walk goes directly to this.

“If you suffer from psoriasis, know someone else who does, or just want to help find a cure for the millions of people whose lives are affected by the disease, you can text NPF to “50555″ to make a $10 mobile donation.”

Kim also recently blogged about a very special book of celebrity photos that is raising money for charity.

“In 2008 photographer Darren Tieste lost a dear friend to brain cancer and in her honor he has created The Beauty Book! The amazing book features photos of celebrities, actresses, models, musicians and other public figures and I was honored to take part and help raise awareness and funds for brain cancer!

“All money raised from the book sales goes to two amazing charities, Snog and Headrush. You can get a copy at www.thebeautybook.org! It’s a perfect gift and you’ll also be helping fund research for brain cancer.”

Also featuring in the book are Amy Adams, Jessica Alba, Dave Annable, Selma Blair, Julie Benz, Justin Bieber, Rachel Bilson, Emily Blunt, Kate Bosworth, Gerard Butler, Kristin Cavallari, Lily Cole, Chace Crawford, Miley Cyrus, Eric Dane, Rosario Dawson, Minnie Driver, Hilary Duff, Josh Duhamel, Eliza Dushku, Fergie, Christina Hendricks, Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, Miranda Kerr, Demi Lovato, Orianthi, Hayden Panettiere, Anna Paquin, Nicole Richie, Justin Timberlake and many more.
