Jill Flint, star of the hit series “Royal Pains” and a committed supporter of United Cerebral Palsy of NYC, is set to host the 11th Annual UCP of NYC Golf Tournament and Celebrity Dinner.

Emmy-Award winning Fox 5 Sports Commentator, Len Berman, will emcee the event.

The Golf Tournament and Celebrity Dinner will be held on Monday, July 23, 2011 at Brae Burn Country Club and Century Golf Clubs in Westchester County, New York.

The tournament attracts over 200 golfers from the tri-state area for a fun day of golf and entertainment. All proceeds from the event support the vital programs provided by UCP of NYC to thousands of New Yorkers with disabilities and their families.

“For quite some time now, Jill Flint has dedicated herself to helping UCP of NYC raise awareness about the many programs and services we offer to families throughout New York City. We are proud to have her as Host of our 11th Annual Golf Tournament,” says Edward R. Matthews, CEO, United Cerebral Palsy of New York City (UCP of NYC). “We are equally thrilled to have Len Berman as our event Emcee, especially this year, as we are honoring two incredible young men involved with athletics at Villanova with the new UCP of NYC Champion Award.”

This year UCP of NYC is celebrating the inaugural presentation of the UCP of NYC Champion Award. The UCP of NYC Champion Award recognizes individuals with disabilities who demonstrate the power to inspire and lead as role models for people with and without disabilities. UCP of NYC is honoring Frank Kineavy and Nicholas Gaynor, student managers for Villanova’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball Program with this important new award.
