Voices of top recording artists raised in song and stories shared by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students, will make for a powerful and jubilant evening at the September 15 Voices On Point concert and dinner.

Soul singer, songwriter and musician Robin Thicke is a featured performer at the event to benefit Point Foundation (Point): the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ students of merit. Musician Peter Wentz is the guest DJ for the evening.

Jorge Valencia, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Point Foundation said, “Voices On Point is a new level of fun and entertainment in an evening to benefit Point. We want to bring people together to celebrate the community that makes it possible for Point Scholars to pursue their dreams of higher education and become leaders in society. The event co-chairs, Jeff Olde and Jim Murphy, are helping us put together a bash at The Wiltern that will resonate with joy and knockout performances by terrific musical artists.”

Some of Point’s 76 current scholars, as well as alumni, will be part of the Voices On Point program, sharing their compelling stories of perseverance and success with the audience.

Individual tickets to the pre-show reception (6:30 p.m.), dinner and concert (7:30p.m.) are on sale now and begin at $500. Ticket packages begin at $3,000. Purchase them at www.pointfoundation.org/vop. Some concert-only balcony seats will go on sale closer to the event date. The Wiltern is located at 3790 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles.
