Chart topping boy band One Direction is supporting Alzheimer's Society by donating a hand signed T-shirt that will be auctioned on eBay until tomorrow (Thursday 20 December).

Band member twenty year old pop sensation Louis Tomlinson from Doncaster is supporting the charity after his girlfriend’s grandfather was diagnosed with dementia.

They are offering one lucky fan a T-shirt which is personally signed by all of the boys from the band: Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson. You can bid on the t-shirt now on eBay.

“I’m so pleased the boys have decided to support Alzheimer’s Society in this way,” said Eleanor Calder, Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend. “My grandfather has dementia and my family and I have had first hand experience of how the condition affects every aspect of a person’s life. I hope people will get bidding on eBay to raise money to help those families who live with dementia.”

Jeremy Hughes, Chief Executive of Alzheimer’s Society said: “We are hugely grateful to One Direction for auctioning an item in aid of Alzheimer’s Society. Money raised from the auction will help people live well with dementia and fund research to find a cure. The boys support will help us reach new audiences and raise awareness of dementia amongst younger people. Everyone has a role to play in improving the lives of people with dementia.”

Get your bids in quickly before the auction ends tomorrow! Bid now!
