Jackie Chan Brings Warm Clothes To Those In Need

Jackie Chan kicked off the new year by visiting the Hebei Province in the Xuanhua County of China, braving sub-zero temperatures to deliver USD $480,000 worth of clothing, food, and bottled water to those in need.

Jackie greeted the residents and spoke with them about his commitment to helping them in their time of need.

The Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation has already donated USD$64,000 to area residents to help build motor-pumped wells.

For nearly two decades, Jackie has been handing out coats to the elderly and homeless during the coldest time of year. On January 2, Jackie visited Hong Kong’s Salvation Army to continue this tradition and as a special treat, he gave out free passes to his latest movie, CZ12.

“Friends exist all over the world,” said Jackie as part of his New Year message to his fans. “We are all neighbors from the ends of the earth.”
