As some with Inflammatory Breast Cancer, I was surprised that the patient in the PSA with James Denton did not even mention that she had stage 4 IBC. It would have been a chance to mention IBC and educate more people about the signs and symptoms of IBC. IBC is the most aggressive and deadly form of breast cancer and is treated differently than regular breast cancer. With IBC you have chemo first, then surgery and rads, and maybe even more chemo. IBC has the bad habit of recurring and eventually doing you in. Way too many young women are being misdiagnosed because their doctors do not know the signs and symptoms of IBC and young children are left without their mothers and husbands without their wives. We need so much more education aimed at the medical profession. See info about IBC at www.eraseibc.com.
