Never one to shy away from fashion – she released a clothing line at Walmart last year and the star is known for her controversial stage outfits – Miley Cyrus is now turning to her own closet for a charity internet auction on eBay for Get Ur Good On.
“For me I get this amazing blessing and opportunity to [connect with people] every day and get up on stage and hopefully inspire people with my music,” Cyrus said. “And that’s something that’s really important to me, but so is getting involved in charities.”
Get Ur Good On, the offspring of non-profit organization Youth Service America, is a virtual social network where youth are connected to volunteer opportunities in their communities. Get Ur Good On, with Miley Cyrus as its earliest celebrity spokesmodel, embraces all kinds of causes and gives grants for young people to take action and get involved in any way that they prefer.
“There are amazing charities right here in America. You don’t have to travel 30 hours…you don’t have to give a billion dollars. It’s not about how much or how far; it’s about looking at your neighbors and seeing how you can help, " Cyrus said. “This isn’t just stuff that’s all over the world, it’s right here, it’s right next to you. It’s important to get involved.”
The auction will fully hit off late August on eBay.

l'm a huge fan,of miley's & always will be.THis is why miley is so special to me,she's always thinking of others,because thats the sort of person she is.So when l see some of the things ppl write about her,it really upsets me.This is how l see miley,she is the most beautiful girl,to ever walk this earth.She has a heart of gold.l wish sites would publish things like,how much miley does for charities.Her & her mum leticia,do a lot for raising awareness,for cancer research,Miley lost her own dear pappy,to cancer,if he'd lived a little bit longer,he would have seen miley fulfil her dream,to be Hannah Montana,bless her heart.Now miley is raising money,through her own site,(geturgoodon.org)l think miley,is truely amazing.l for one am so proud of her.Ofcourse the reason sites don't publish the good she does,is because it doesn't sell does it,it only seems to be scandle that ppl r interested in.l think ur wonderful miles.God bless you always:)XXXX
