Former Spice Girl Melanie C, Pampers and UNICEF are celebrating half a decade of supplying life-saving maternal and newborn tetanus vaccines to protect mothers and newborns in developing countries around the world by launching the Pampers Big Kiss.

It’s easy to get involved – simply visit the Pampers Village website and anyone, including parents of the future, can send a ‘virtual kiss’ with the click of a mouse. For every virtual kiss sent, Pampers will make an additional donation to UNICEF.

“I love the idea behind this campaign,” says Mel C. "Over the last five years mums and dads in the UK have done an amazing job raising funds for these life-saving tetanus vaccines. Now through the ‘Pampers Big Kiss’ campaign, everyone can be part of the global movement to help eliminate maternal and newborn tetanus. It’s so simple – with a click of a mouse you can send a virtual kiss that can help to save someone’s life.

"I also know that when I kiss Scarlet goodnight in a Pampers nappy, I’m sending my love further to help eliminate maternal and newborn tetanus and protect the millions of women and their babies whose lives are still threatened by the disease."
