The five-day sale of 10,000 pieces of designer clothing owned by Sir Elton John and partner David Furnish concluded successfully on Friday.

Held in a temporary shop in the Rockefeller Centre in New York, the sale raised £395,000 ($700,000) for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The event will reportedly be repeated in a year’s time.
