How persuasive is U2 front man / humanitarian Bono? He’s recently asked the world’s most recognizable soccer star, David Beckham, to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for charity, and Beckham has agreed.

Beckham decided to undertake the intense six-day climb to raise money for UNICEF after being asked by Bono, but no date has been set yet for Becks’ big climb.

A source close to the LA Galaxy player told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “The 19,340ft peak is a bit outside of David’s normal comfort zone but he is absolutely set on making the climb. No date has been fixed yet because David is very busy with his LA Galaxy commitments, but he is absolutely set on doing it.”

Go for it David, I did it was amazing but tough. Only 3 ladies made it to Uhuru Peak and 12 men from a mixed group of 53. I did it for the Charity Scope and was looked after very well.
Good luck when you go.More than happy to give you advise if you'd like.
