As part of its over 90-year commitment to the well-being of the entertainment community, MPTF (Motion Picture & Television Fund) announced its third annual Deal With It: A Women’s Conference to be held on September 27 at the Montage Beverly Hills.

This year’s day-long program features keynote presentations by artist Candy Chang, creator of the “Before I Die” project, and CBS Sunday Morning Contributor Nancy Giles, as well as panels covering topics including breast cancer, Alzheimer’s and heart disease, career reinvention, wellness, emergency preparedness, aging, elder care, patient advocacy, estate planning, wealth management, and more.

“At MPTF, we believe there is no other resource of its kind where women in the entertainment industry can convene for a day of thoughtful dialogue, information gathering, networking and life-changing insights,” says MPTF CEO Bob Beitcher. “Providing the resources and inspiration to tackle issues most important to our attendees is at the heart of Deal With It.”

The invitation-only event, which reached maximum capacity in only three days, offers 12 breakout panels and a roster of over 50 speakers, many of whom are best-selling authors.

“When something unexpected happens, half the battle is knowing who to call to get the information you need and finding the support to get you through it,” explains conference producer Madelyn Hammond of Madelyn Hammond & Associates. “Insightful discussions with highly respected experts as well as women who share their first-hand experience — whether it’s surviving breast cancer, dealing with aging parents, or turning a passion into a successful new enterprise — is what makes this conference unique and valuable.”

Corporate sponsors of the event include UCLA Health, SAG-AFTRA, Select Medical, Cedars-Sinai, Keck Medicine of USC, Providence Health & Services, HCR Wealth Advisors, DLA Piper, Parq Advisors, Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, Golden Door, PURE Insurance and HUB International Insurance Services. Media sponsors of the event include The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline Hollywood and Variety. Sampling partners include Nelly’s, purely elizabeth, Sweet Loren’s, Tava Life, GoMacro and hint water.
