For years Hilary Duff has been involved with Blessings in a Backpack, which provides backpacks filled with weekend nourishment to children of lesser income families.
Now she is calling her fans to help support the charity. Fans can go to www.celebritiescallyou.com and send personalized messages from Hilary Duff to themselves or their friends. She pre-recorded hundreds of names for these personalized greetings, which include birthday, holiday and anniversary messages, which can be sent as a phone call or an eCard.
Each phone call costs $3.99, and all of the proceeds benefit Blessings in a Backpack. Duff has helped to donate millions of meals to underprivileged children from all over the United States.
