This year ethical women’s fashion retailer Monsoon Accessorize has released The Heritage Collection to celebrate forty years of Monsoon passion.

They’ve returned to the very start of the story and revisited all that first inspired them; the lush colours of the subcontinent, the exquisite embellishment, the handcrafted prints and the unmistakable bohemian style that defines the Monsoon brand.

Produced in partnership with skilled Indian artisans using traditional decorative techniques, this limited-edition capsule range breathes fresh life into our classic looks. Model Yasmin Le Bon and Monsoon founder Peter Simon travelled all the way to Udaipur, India, to see the clothing being made in person and visit various charity projects set up by the Monsoon Trust over the years.

Yasmin Le Bon and her daughter, Amber, are also seen modelling the Limited Edition Heritage Collection in celebration of Monsoon’s 40th Anniversary.

Shot by iconic fashion photographer Anders Overgaard in Rajasthan, India; the heartland of hand-block printing and the location of Monsoon’s original 1974 campaign shoot. Beautifully styled by fashion guru and editor of the world-famous Cheap Date magazine Bay Garnett, the shots capture the intricate details of the collection that Monsoon is renowned for.
