Corporal Klinger is back – and this time he’s doing it for charity.

Jamie Farr – who played Corporal Maxwell Klinger on the long running TV series M*A*S*H – gave a charity lecture on Sunday, February 8, at the Chapel of Lake Avenue Church, 393 N. Lake Avenue, Pasadena.

The lecture – which covered the actor’s life story and gave a glimpse of his zest for life – raised money for the San Marino Guild of the Huntington Hospital, to raise funds to assist the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. It was part of a series of events being held by the group, including “Hot August Night – A Tribute to Neil Diamond” and a lecture by Dr. Elliot Engel about “The Rise and Fall of F. Scott Fitzgerald.” Series tickets for the three events are $75. Single tickets are $30.
