The Dream Maker Foundation’s (DMF) Second Annual International Fashion Showcase and Scholarship Celebration will be held on June 26 in New Jersey.

Highlights of this year’s event include scholarship presentations, trendy & electric fashions, scenic atmosphere, confirmed Celebrity guests, appearances by Liberian Rapper 2C, Hip Hop Group DawholeDamnshow, Miss Latina NJ, Miss Liberia in the US and Special Guest Model Yago Mo’Nique of Tyra Banks Bad Girl’s Model, Caribbean News and Creator of Yagolicious Cosmetic Collection." Music by DJ Levi Jones.

“As a native of Liberia, I have single handedly faced many challenges and obstacles. It is my mission to position DMF as a platform to effect global and local change at a grassroots level,” stated Michael Gray, Founder of the Dream Maker Foundation. “This year’s event promises to build upon the success of last year’s with ambiance, fine dining, celebrity guests, dignitaries, celebrity performances, and most importantly the scholarship presentations.”

Featured Musical Performances will include:

  • Chris DeShield, R&B Crooner and Winner of BET’s 106 and Park Wild Out Wednesday
  • Nenna Yvonne (En-Y), Nigerian Pop Artist, accompanied by her live band
  • Knight, Hip Hop Rising Star, performing New Single “Wont Stop”

Event proceeds will benefit disadvantaged students in Newark, New Jersey and Liberia, West Africa. Founded by Michael Gray, MBA and current PhD student, DMF is a philanthropic organization established in 2006. The mission is to increase educational access, promote entrepreneurship, and provide economic assistance by way of scholarships to students and micro-lending to small businesses in impoverished and underdeveloped regions locally and globally. As a native of Liberian, Michael Gray witnessed the devastating effects of inadequate education and poor economic infrastructures, first-hand. As such, he has an unwavering commitment to support and encourage the poor and marginalized within local and foreign communities.
