Charity biography
Eggers cofounded the tutoring center, 826 Valencia, run by volunteers to help students “with their writing skills, in the realm of creative writing, expository writing, or English as a second language.”
He won the 2008 TED wish prize, that creative people engage with local schools in transformative projects.
