For one special night, Broadway’s biggest stars come together under the direction of lyricist and composer Neil Berg when Covenant House will present the Beacon of Hope Award to Martina McBride at the 2015 Night of Broadway Stars on Tuesday, June 9, at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Martina will receive The Beacon of Hope Award in recognition of her work on behalf of the homeless and trafficked youth living at Covenant House. Previous honorees have included Jon Bon Jovi and former first lady Laura Bush. Martina and her charity group Team Martina visited the Covenant House shelter for homeless youth in Newark, NJ, in 2014. Since then, Martina’s dedication to Covenant House has extended to Latin America, where Team Martina rallied to raise funds for a music program for the young girls served by Covenant House in Guatemala.

In an effort to further help the youth at Covenant House, fans may donate to Martina’s Crowdrise fundraiser online and be entered to win a personal video message from Martina. Fans can also qualify to attend a private sound check with Martina on July 3, 2015, at Myrtle Beach, SC. The highest fundraiser in Martina’s sound check will win lunch with her for themselves and a guest.
