An exclusive charity event at the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas featured Tonight Show host Jay Leno and a performance by Jon Bon Jovi and Friends. The gala also featured international cuisine, appearances by Champ Car World Series drivers and A-list Hollywood celebrities.

Attendance fees for the invitation-only gala began at $5,000 for a table for ten, but the title “Pole Position” sponsorship cost $350,000 for three VIP tables.

The money raised will support Keep Memory Alive, a foundation for the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute, an organisation that funds research into areas including Alzheimer, Huntington, Parkinson, ALS and memory disorders.

Boosting the fundraising, the gala featured a live auction with an accompanying high-end silent auction for such lots as fighter jet rides and exclusive holidays.
