Colombian singing sensation Juanes is to perform at a special charity concert in the Dominican Republic to raise money to build a children’s hospital in Haiti.
The concert – to be held on April 18 at Santo Domingo’s Olympic Stadium – will also feature Spanish artists Alejandro Sanz and Miguel Bose, Puerto Rican Luis Fonsi and Dominicians Milly Quezada, Maridalia Hernandez and Johnny Ventura.
Proceeds from the show – titled “A Song of Hope for Haiti” – will go to the Sur Futuro Foundation, a charity that promotes the social well being of communities of the southern region of the Dominican Republic.
