The Heroes Concert at Twickenham Stadium to benefit Help for Heroes on September 12th keeps getting better.

The concert already has some of the biggest names in music and comedy performing for 60,000 fans at Twickenham. And now Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow have confirmed that they will sing together at the event.

The pair today revealed their new song, ‘Shame’, that will appear on Robbie’s double disc ‘In & Out of Consciousness’ Greatest Hits album and is due for release on October 4th.

Robbie and Gary said, “It’s great that people love ‘Shame’ so much and we can’t wait to perform it live for the first time at the Heroes Concert at Twickenham on September 12th. We hope everyone supports Help for Heroes as much as possible – it’s a great bill and we are thrilled to be part of it.”

And if that news isn’t big enough, check this out: a true British legend has been added to the already amazing line up – Sir Tom Jones

Sir Tom Jones has quite simply been THE voice of British music since the 1960s. Constantly challenging himself by taking on the demands of a remarkable range of repertoire, he recently released the acclaimed album Praise & Blame, a return to his gospel and blues roots.

His Twickenham performance promises to draw on both traditions – the classic Tom Jones entertainer and the raw, emotional journey of Praise & Blame.

Tom is really pleased to have the chance to participate in the Heroes Concert: “It’s great to be able to do something for our troops, and it’s pretty rare to get the chance to do something fun and uplifting on home soil. Not only will this event help us understand what these brave men and women in service do for us, it will also help raise enough funds to really make a difference in their recovery. I’m proud to be able to help in any way I can”.
