The National Alliance on Mental Illness-NYC Metro (NAMI-NYC Metro) announced today that two time Golden Globe-nominated actor Chris Noth will host their annual “Seeds of Hope” gala in New York City on November 6.

The event, taking place at the Altman Building at 135 West 18th Street, will raise funds for NAMI-NYC Metro’s #IWillListen Campaign and their three psychoeducation courses, more than twenty support groups and public education events that help thousands of New York City residents each year. The evening will honor: Representative Patrick Kennedy for his leadership and commitment for ensuring that mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health; Shari Goldfarb, Director of HR for Deutsche Bank, for her leadership in the corporate community and overseeing the first corporate #IWillListen Campaign; Lisa Dixon, Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center and Director of the Center for Practice Innovations at New York State Psychiatric Institute. Other attendees will include Robert John Burke from CBS’s “Person of Interest” and Zach Grenier from CBS’s “The Good Wife.”
