How did you spend Valentine’s Day? If you’re like Krysten Ritter, you spent the day with your best canine pal — but for the Big Eyes star, that’s every day!
And in a new PETA video, Ritter and her beloved Mikey Mohawk show why all dogs deserve their own Krysten Ritter — someone who gives them all the affection, care, and companionship they deserve.
The short video follows Ritter and Mikey through a typical day—getting ready together in the morning, practicing yoga together (Mikey is an expert at downward dog!), relaxing in the pool together, and wishing each other good night.
PETA — whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to abuse in any way” — hopes the new video will remind all dog guardians to spend active time with their dogs, taking them on long and leisurely walks, playing with them, and treating them as the valued family members they are.
“This Valentine’s Day, like every other, my little guy has my heart, and I have his,” says Ritter. “Happy Valentine’s Day Mikey Mohawk!”
