TrueChild, a national organization helping all children break through stereotypes so they can be true to themselves and reach their full potential, will host the “True Flavors Celebrity Cook-Off” at Mise En Place on June 25.

This year, the cook-off will feature two teams including Denver’s own Top Chef’s – Alex Eusebio and Melissa Harrison. Each team will have 35 minutes to make a three course meal with secret ingredients they will only learn of moments before the contest. In addition to the celebrity cooking competition, the evening will feature raffles, a live auction, as well as a reception prior to the event.

Alex Eusebio was a contestant on Top Chef Season 5. Currently, Alex is the Executive Chef at Restaurant 15 in Los Angeles.

Melissa Harrison was a contestant on Top Chef Season 5. Melissa is currently the Sous Chef at Centro Latin Kitchen & Refreshment Palace in Boulder.

TrueChild imagines a world where boys and girls are free from stereotypes so they can live, learn and grow to reach their full potential. TrueChild is a powerful community of parents, experts and educators — who finally and for the first time — have come together to change the course of children’s culture, ages 0 – 12.
