One of Charlie Sheen's “goddesses”, Rachel Oberlin (aka Bree Olsen), has talked to OK! magazine about why she loves being a vegan.

“I completely attribute my vegan diet to the book Skinny Bitch,” says the adult film actress and PETA supporter in the interview. "I was looking for a way to lose weight and they cleverly disguised their book. Had I known it was going to be about veganism, I would have never read it seeing I was a mid-western meat and potatoes kind of gal. I read the book in one sitting and changed my whole diet overnight. I lost all of the weight within a few months just by going vegan. In this era, it is easy to be vegan because there are so many options. I am a huge foodie and I don’t know if I would have been able to follow through had it not been for all of the great restaurants and selections at the grocery stores.

“Animal bi-products are so bad for our bodies, and I feel as though my body is now pure and clean. I have so much energy and life now. I also feel great knowing I don’t contribute to any deaths of any innocent creatures.”

She also reveals that she managed to teach Charlie a thing or two about veganism.

“Charlie is very open to eating vegan dishes. I was pleasantly surprised to see that he often chooses the vegan options over the non-vegan ones and will always eat anything vegan I prepare for him. That means a lot to me.”
