Katie Price was among thousands of runners in the annual Brighton Half Marathon during the weekend, raising money for Vision Charity for blind, visually impaired and dyslexic children.

“I finished Brighton half marathon 2hrs34mins,” she tweeted. “Sooo gutted both my knees went so I struggled but thinking of Vision Charity got me through.”

Katie’s son – born in 2002 – is autistic and blind.

Vision Charity was created in 1975 and celebrates over 35 years of fundraising for the benefit of blind and visually impaired children. Its foundation was the professional and corporate television industry, but since then it has broadened its reach beyond the Visual Communications Industries.

Katie Price is a patron of the charity, along with Kara Tointon and Cheryl Baker.
