Following news that Sarasota and Manatee County officials are seeking food donations to bolster the quickly dwindling supplies at the Mayors’ Feed the Hungry Program, PETA teamed up with Joanna Krupa to rush Tofurky roasts — generously donated by Turtle Island Foods — to program officials to help them provide delicious holiday meals that are both healthy and humane.

“The holidays are a great time to remember all living beings and try to bring a little comfort and joy to everyone,” says PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk. “Healthy vegan meals offer needy families a delicious, nonviolent way to come together and celebrate.”
