What if your favorite fruit and nut bar was not just a midday snack, but was also a meal for a hungry child across the globe? Well now, it can be!

When Hollywood actors Todd Grinnell, Ryan Devlin and Ravi Patel visited Liberia, they were heartbroken by the poverty they encountered. In fact, the epidemic is so severe that one child dies of malnourishment once every 12 seconds. Upon their return, they knew they had to take action. They decided to jump on the ‘buy one, give one’ band wagon and create a healthy, nutritious fruit and nut bar.

With the purchase of this new snack, a child in need on the other side of the world receives a food bar, jam packed full of the nutrients required to nurse them back to health. This Bar Saves Lives eventually attracted the attention of A-list celebrities like Kristen Bell. By the end of the year, the co-founders hope to sell one million bars, giving helpless families across the world a chance at life!
