Bill Clinton is currently visiting Latin America with the Clinton Foundation, and has announced a new fundraising initiative that will give new monthly donors a special gift.
“This week I am visiting our programs and partners in El Salvador, Peru, and Panama,” wrote Clinton in an email to supporters of the Clinton Foundation. "Whenever I make trips like this, I see how we are making a profound difference in people’s lives.
“I want to invite you to join a global network of monthly donors providing vital resources to continue to support and grow these opportunities. If you’re one of the first 200 new monthly donors, we’ll send you a one-of-a-kind, handmade ornament from the artisans we’re working with in Haiti.”
