Stars such as Danny Glover, James Avery, Anna Maria Horsford and many others will be out in Los Angeles on Thursday night, February 25, for a special event.

Shoulder-To-Shoulder: A Celebration of African American Heritage and the Pursuit of Human Rights is a theatrical performance that will celebrate the accomplishments of African Americans and those that worked tirelessly during the Civil Rights Movement for human rights for people of color, women and those living with disabilities.

Actors and actresses from your favorite television shows and big screen movies will delight you with musical, dramatic and comedic readings and performances. The event begins with a Red Carpet gathering hosted by media sponsor KJLH Radio and ends with a private reception with celebrity performers, community leaders and elected officials. This event is a part of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa’s official Black Heritage Celebrations.

Brought to you by the Special Needs Network, Inc, the performance takes place at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center on Washington Blvd, LA. Info and tickets can be found here.
