Naomi Campbell will fly to Haiti next month, after a previously-planned trip was postponed due to an outbreak of malaria.

“I was so disappointed not to be able to make it at Easter, but I was advised that the malaria outbreak made it very dangerous,” she said. “I will go at the end of June. It’s really important for me and everyone who supported Fashion For Relief to see where the money has gone.”

Earlier this year, the supermodel held two Fashion For Relief events to raise money for earthquake victims in Haiti.

“I am deeply saddened by the recent tragedy in Haiti; so many have been killed and severely affected by the earthquake – women and children in particular are most vulnerable in disasters,” said Campbell in February. “Fashion is universal, personal and touches everyone.”
