British stars Denise van Outen, Fearne Cotton, Alexandra Burke , Amanda Byram and Gabriella Cilmi are currently trekking through the Andes in Peru in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

The celebrities are joined by six women, each of whom have been diagnosed with breast cancer, as part of a documentary for ITV2.

Talking about the trip, radio DJ and TV presenter Fearne Cotton said, “Denise and I have been planning this for ages, ever since we were in a tent on Kilimanjaro. I’m really chuffed that the girls can join us and I can’t wait to get out there and start raising money for Breast Cancer Care. One person is diagnosed with breast cancer every 11 minutes so most of us will know someone who has been affected. I want to show everyone who’s dealing with breast cancer right now that I support them 100%. Please please show your support too by donating to this fab cause.”

The trek will see the stars hike over 80km through Amazon rainforest and over hilly and rocky terrain. The trail will take them to high altitudes through some of Peru’s most beautiful scenery, finishing at Machu Picchu.
