Zac Efron led some charity fun on the set of his new movie, The Lucky One, this week.

The film wrapped on Tuesday, and the actor – who had his head shaved for his role – convinced the entire crew to join him and cut their hair for charity.

The hair was donated to Locks Of Love, which provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss.

“He likes doing things for charity — two Make-A-Wish kids came a visit to the set while he was there — and he felt like he wanted to do something for a New Orleans charity since he had such a nice time shooting there," said Efron’s publicist.

The whole production of The Lucky One has been involved in good deeds, with Efron’s co-star Taylor Schilling reading stories for Radio for the Blind, and the film’s producers donating 300 plants from the movie to areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.
