After much anticipation, Heidi Klum rang in the holidays with a Haunted Holiday party during the weekend to benefit the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts of The American Red Cross.

Klum’s original party, scheduled to be held on Wednesday, October 31st was postponed due to the storm. Klum, a member of the Red Cross’ National Celebrity Cabinet since 2005, helped raise money to benefit their hurricane relief efforts.

The soiree was held at its original location, FINALE Nightclub, the latest endeavor from New York’s hospitality leaders, EMM Group. Situated in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, the ultra-luxe mega club, FINALE, will be one of the multi-property offerings at 199 Bowery providing guests the ultimate DJ centric experience with progressive performance elements.

Heidi Klum hosted this year’s rescheduled Halloween party on Saturday, December 1st to benefit the American Red Cross’s hurricane relief efforts. In addition, Klum joined forces with AOL and its Patch network of community sites for a day of service on December 2nd, visiting and helping out at Red Cross and Patch, Sandy-affected areas of New York.

Klum traveled to a Red Cross location in Seaford, Long Island to lend a helping hand and donate items to hurricane victims in the community. In addition to her work with the Red Cross on Sunday, Klum headed to a Patch community in Lindenhurst, Long Island to participate in its Christmas tree lighting ceremony to help spread holiday cheer during the wake of the hurricane’s devastation.
