Ross Thomas is best known for his role of Bailey Reese on the teen drama television series Beyond the Break. He also stars in the 2011 film Soul Surfer.
He is a supporter of human rights. He has made a short film about the plight of tribal peoples in Peru, and has visited Brazil to support the tribes against the Belo Monte Dam.
