The Academy of United States Veterans and Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, along with CNN’s Jake Tapper will host the 2018 Veteran Awards “Vettys” on January 20 in Washington DC.
The event will honor Dustin Perkins, Director of Marketing for Student Veterans of America – Illinois; Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc.; Sarah Verardo, Executive Director for The Independence Fund; Bunker Labs; and National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP). Presenters include Nate Boyer, United States Green Beret and former NFL player; Shohreh Aghdashloo of Syfy’s The Expanse; Anne Heche, Mike Vogel and Sofia Pernas of the hit NBC show The Brave; and Matt Barr of CW’s Valor.
