Some of Hollywood’s most outspoken comics are teaming up for a benefit for the most outspoken animal rights group, PETA.

In addition to featuring Bill Maher as headliner, this year’s “Stand-Up for Animals” will showcase “Roastmaster General” Jeffrey Ross, Undateable’s Ron Funches, the Nerdist network’s Kurt Braunohler, and IFC and Comedy Central star Laura Kightlinger. It will be held at the legendary Comedy Store, which has “veganized” its menu for the occasion.

When: Sunday, June 15, 8–10 p.m. (Red carpet at 7 p.m., and doors open at 7:30 p.m.)

Where: The Comedy Store, 8433 W. Sunset Blvd. (near the intersection with Olive Drive), Los Angeles

“PETA’s supporters include some of the smartest and most talented performers in Hollywood,” says PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk. “On June 15, they’ll prove it by cracking jokes to raise money for something that no one finds funny: cruelty to animals.”

Jillian Michaels, Kevin Nealon, Mayim Bialik, and Krysten Ritter will also be in attendance.
