Kailand Obasi Morris, Youth Ambassador for All it Takes, along with his parents Stevie Wonder and Kai Milla and All it Takes, will be hosting the 3rd Annual Kailand Obasi Hoop-Life Youth Basketball Tournament and FriendRaiser on August 30, 2015.

Four teams of 13-15 year old players will make up this tournament, with one team being Kailand and his selected teammates. The other three teams invited will be from community-based organizations, like the Frogg All-Stars. Professional athletes, coaches, and celebrities will coach the four teams, and there will be a halftime performance. DJ Prophet is confirmed to perform throughout the event.

All it Takes was co-founded in 2010 by Lori Woodley and her daughter, acclaimed actress Shailene Woodley, as a conduit to create powerful, measurable, and meaningful change for youth in the L.A. area and beyond. Please click here for more.

Invited guests include: Usher, Nick Jonas, Zendaya, Mike Epps, L.A. Laker’s Head Coach Byron Scott, L.A. Lakers Nick Young and Roy Hibbert, L.A. Clippers Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, and ESPN Commentator Mark Jackson.

WHAT: The 3rd Annual Hoop-Life Youth Basketball Tournament and FriendRaiser will benefit All it Takes. This unique charity basketball tournament brings together some of LA’s most earnest and talented young athletes ages 13-15 and will consist of a four-team basketball tournament, with a playoff game to determine the champion.

Hoop-Life will host a half time performance, celebrity guests, autographs, prize giveaways, live music by DJ Prophet, and gourmet food.
