On Friday, November 9, 2018, Elton John's songwriting partner Bernie Taupin will be auctioning specially illustrated editions of the lyrics to some of Elton and Bernie’s biggest hits, including “Rocket Man,” “Bennie and the Jets,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” “I’m Still Standing,” and the Princess Diana funeral version of “Candle in the Wind,” at a special auction conducted by Julien’s Auctions at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City.

The auction will also feature platinum and gold record awards, clothing, photographs, jewelry, western ephemera, music memorabilia, decorative arts and more. A highlight of the event will be Taupin’s leather desk chair in which he wrote many of his hits over the last several decades.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation and Wounded Warriors.
