Jessica Simpson performed to over 2000 pediatric cancer survivors at the 18th annual Celebrate Life With Hope event at Paramount Studios on Sunday, June 7.

The event benefited the HOPE program at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles and is the largest annual event of its type in US. It presented the opportunity for survivors and their families to get together with hospital staff and trainees, representatives of community and national support agencies, and major donors of the HOPE Program at the CHLA. In addition to fun and food, the event emphasized health promotion and wellness through attention to nutrition, self-care, and mind-body fitness.

The HOPE Program in the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles has evolved over the last 30 years and continues to create new and innovative approaches to psychosocial care. Today, the Center is an international leader in the comprehensive care of children and teens with cancer, together with their families. It provides state-of-the art medical treatment combined with compassionate psychosocial care and support, as well as making scientific discoveries in all facets of the disease and treatment focused on reducing suffering and improving quality of life.
