Jackie Chan was in Chengdu, China, on November 27 to open the Jackie Chan Eye Center at Sichuan University Hospital.

According to his website: "The center is part of the ongoing efforts of the World Eye Organization to prevent and treat eye diseases through education, training, research and the establishment of ophthalmic centers, initially in China and subsequently in other parts of the world. Jackie is the Chairman of their International Advisory Board.

“Jackie expressed his hope that children with eye diseases would be cured and thanked the medical team for their hard work.”
