A number of celebrity-autographed MEDEA vodka bottles with custom messages will be auctioned off to raise funds for charities.

When Suzanna Bowling of the Times Square Chronicles saw a bottle of MEDEA Vodka, she called it “Times Square on a Bottle” and soon after Charities to Benefit was born. The new initiative will raise funds for the charities of choice of your favorite celebrities. Each bottle of MEDEA, with its own built-in “Times Square” digital read-out customized with a special message by a celebrity, will be autographed by the celebrity to be auctioned off to the celebrity’s charity of choice starting February 1st.

The talented Hugh Jackman was the first to sign with the proceeds of the sale of his autographed MEDEA bottle (programmed “HUGH JACKMAN ON BROADWAY” in the Blue LED lights on the bottle) to de donated to Nomad Two Worlds Foundation, supporting and promoting artists from indigenous and marginalized communities around the world. The bottles will be on display at Columbus Circle Wine at 1802 Broadway starting January 13 through Valentine’s Day, February 14.

On February 1, the auction will go live at www.charitiestobenefit.org with a gala celebrating Charities to Benefit set for February 13. Confirmed signings include Bernadette Peters for Broadway Barks, Phyllis Newman for The Women’s Healthy Initiative, Lainie Kazan for Alzheimer’s Foundation, and the Cast of The Fantasticks for Bideawee. The cast of Phantom of the Opera autographed the MEDEA “Observe” bottle for Broadway League’s Family First Nights and other celebrity signings will be unveiled throughout the campaign.

“Suzanna experienced a “eureka” moment when she saw the MEDEA bottle for the first time in December, from which a great positive force of creative and enlightened energy emerged to result in a truly beautiful campaign for the betterment of lives," says Matt Sandy, co-creator of Charities to Benefit and a founder of MEDEA Spirits. “Where there’s a will there’s a way and we’re blessed to live in today’s world where unbridled creativity and the entrepreneurial spirit are the key drivers for a better tomorrow.”
