The breathtaking views from the terrace of Clint and Dina Eastwood’s Tehama Golf Club form the backdrop for The Monterey Bay Gala on Saturday, October 20th in Carmel.

Benefiting Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area, this year’s theme is San Francisco: Golden Gate to Wishes.

The Gala draws 300 attendees from around the Monterey Peninsula, and includes cocktails and a silent auction on the terrace, a gourmet dinner and a live auction containing coveted items such as one-of-a-kind vacations, exclusive set visits and film premiers from Clint Eastwood, and a Monaco Grand Prix VIP experience.

The highlight of the evening is the entertainment. Past performers have included Tony Bennett and Brad Paisley, and this year’s musical guest is the acclaimed Jonathan Cain. As a member of Journey, the ultimate iconic San Francisco band, Jonathan Cain has performed some of rock’s most beloved anthems for millions of fans. Journey’s credits include eighteen top 40 singles and over 80 million albums sold, and Cain holds songwriter credits on such hits as “Faithfully,” “Open Arms,” and “Who’s Crying Now.”

Currently on tour with Journey, Cain’s performance is a one-night exclusive engagement for the charity that he has been involved with for many years.

Following the performance, guests can enjoy a dessert bar on the terrace or head inside to dance. All proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area.
