Charity biography
Bode Miller is an American alpine skier who established the Turtle Ridge Foundation to support health, diversity, and sustainable living in local communities.
In 2006 he signed a one-day contract to play baseball for the Nashua Pride in the Canadian-American League. The team agreed to donate $5,000 from ticket sales for the game to the Turtle Ridge Foundation, which passed the money on to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Miller repeated the experience in 2007.
