Ed Begley Jr. will host the 6th annual Experience, Strength and Hope Awards, honoring Joe Pantoliano, on February 26.

The Experience, Strength and Hope Award is given in recognition of an individual’s honest memoir including their journey though addiction to recovery, and their dedication and enthusiasm for carrying the ‘message’ to a society awash in addiction. This year’s honoree is actor and author Joe Pantoliano for his memoir Asylum.

The event includes catered cuisine and 90-minute social soiree. Tickets are $50 with proceeds benefiting The Writers in Treatment Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization grounded in recovery and the arts. The foundation helps men and women in the writing industry suffering from alcoholism, drug addiction, and other self-destructive behaviors get treatment for their disease.
