In commemoration of 9/11 and its 14th anniversary, the Brooke Jackman Foundation (BJF), a children’s literacy organization that has donated more than 250,000 books to children and families in need since its founding in 2001, will celebrate literacy and hope at the 6th Annual BJF Read-a-thon.

Featuring special guest readers, including Dora the Explorer voice Fatima Ptacek, NYC Weatherman Mr. G and NYC Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro, this free public event for children and families will celebrate the positive, transformative power of literacy. Broadway actors from the Screen Actors Guild Foundation BookPALS will also be on hand to lead theatrical readings, including Chad Kimball, Seanmichael Rodgers and Bobby Nathaniel Anderson.
