The 30TH Anniversary of the Yellow Rose Gala presented by Texas Health Resources will take place at 6:30 p.m. on April 2, 2016, at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel.

The return of the highly anticipated evening celebrates and raises funds for progressive MS research through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Gloria Gaynor, the ‘Queen of Disco,’ who is best known for her hit, “I Will Survive,” will perform with her 10-piece band at this year’s Yellow Rose Gala. Caroline Rose Hunt, one of Dallas’ most recognizable philanthropists, is serving as the honorary chair for this highly anticipated gala. The evening will be emceed by Lauren Pryzbyl, Anchor of Good Day Dallas, Fox 4.

Fallon Wynne Way, President and Chairwoman of the Yellow Rose Gala, is the driving force behind reestablishing the fundraiser after a 15-year hiatus. The event will be held in memory of her mother, Dee Wynne, who first established the Yellow Rose Gala Foundation with her husband, Jimmy Wynne, in April 1986. Continuing her mother’s legacy, Fallon is on a mission to bring back one of the most prominent social events in Dallas in order to find a cure for MS.

“The Yellow Rose Gala has been important to so many people through the years,” Fallon Wynne Way says. “My mother was an integral part of this fundraiser and we feel this is a way to honor her and the many lives she touched with her illuminating presence and kind spirit.”

The Yellow Rose Gala Foundation is partnering with the National MS Society where 100 percent of the net proceeds raised will go directly to progressive MS research.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the revival of the Yellow Rose Gala for the MS community,” said Shannon Nelson, Associate Vice President of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, South Central Region. “There are currently no treatments available for patients living with progressive MS. This marquee fundraising event will help us raise awareness and funds for the advancement of critical progressive MS research and ultimately move us toward solutions to end MS.”

The exclusive event is expected to sellout. To inquire about sponsorships, purchase a table or for more information about the Yellow Rose Gala Foundation, please visit www.theyellowrose.org.
