All It Takes held their 4th Annual Hoop-Life star studded charity basketball tournament this past Sunday, hosted by Stevie Wonder, Kai Milla along with their son Kailand Obasi Morris, Youth Ambassador for All It Takes, at USC’s Galen Center.

The annual youth basketball tournament was MC’d by actor/comedian Affion Crockett with featured guests such as retired NBA pro’s John Salley, Cuttino Mobley, Mitch Richmond; actors Quinton Aaron, Dale Godboldo, Benjamin Onyango, Brely Evans, Kelly Perine, Paige Hurd, a fun half-time exchange between Black-ish actor/comedian Anthony Anderson and Stevie Wonder, followed by a surprise performance by Stevie Wonder with featured guest from R&B/Soul songstress Goapele and an inspiring presentation by acclaimed actress Shailene Woodley.

The unique fan-favorite tournament remains one of AIT’s most anticipated events, talented athletes were coached by Pro-Players during a four-team basketball tournament. From beginning to end, guests experienced a fun-filled family day with music by DJ Mal-ski, giveaways, and half time performances by Empire actress/singer V. Bozeman and dance phenomena WillldaBeast Adams’ ImmaBeast Dance Crew. Shailene Woodley presented the All It Takes Hoop-Life Inspiration Award to Pop Rock Band, R5, and 7 extraordinary youth who have made life-changing contributions since participating in All It Takes programs. This year, AIT is set to serve over 6,000 youth with over 60% from underserved populations.

All It Takes (AIT), co-founded in 2010 by Lori and Shailene Woodley, is a non-profit organization created to teach youth at a critical life stage to practice honor, acceptance, compassion and respect such that they become the solution to many of the risk factors they face. “Our youth are our future and they deserve to be safe and free to pursue any and all dreams they have. It is our job to set them up to do this for them while looking out for others and our planet. All It Takes teaches our youth to ‘look out for each other rather than go after each other.’ When this happens love and inclusion grows, and our schools and communities are safer and more connected.” says founder Lori Woodley.
